That is why we must, study to show ourselves approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.Titus 3:9 9 But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law; for they are unprofitable and vain. II. With that in mind, let's look at some more issues some say are Bible contradictions.A. Does God allow killing? I. This subject has been an issue of great contention for many years.Exodus 20:13 13 Thou shalt not kill.Exodus 32:27 27 And he said unto them, Thus saith the LORD God of Israel, Put every man his sword by his side, and go in and out from gate to gate throughout the camp, and slay every man his brother, and every man his companion, and every man his neighbour.B. It appears the Lord is contradicting Himself.C. The commandment, "Thou shalt not kill." is a commandment not to murder. I.
