Bible Contradictions IVRev. Robert ZiriakI. We are continuing our intensive look at what others consider Bible Contradictions and errors.A. So let's just jump right in.II. Do snails melt? ( Psalm 58:8 )A. The person who composed this particular list of Bible errors does not believe snails melt.1. I thought about bringing a snail tonight and proving they do melt.2. However, to spare us the gross process of a melting snail, take my word for it.3. All you have to do is pour salt on a snail and it melts.B. There is no Bible error.III. Did fowl come from water or ground? (Genesis 1:20-21, Genesis 2:19 )A. From last weeks study we know that fowl encompasses anything that has wings and that which is able to fly.B. In Genesis chapter 1 the Bible states God brought forth every winged fowl after his kind.1. It is believed this is when the whales, lizards, dinosaurs and other reptilian creatures were created.2. We cannot negate the existence of dinosaurs.3. For that reason, it is also believed Genesis 1 is speaking of the fowl such as the PterosaursC. In Genesis 2 this is obviously speaking of bird type fowl.D. Once again, there is no error or contradiction.IV. The next argument people use to try to invalidate the Bible is snakes don't eat dirt.
